Baraka Arts is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes African and Islamic traditional artisans and the preservation of their artistic and cultural knowledge.
We support the continuity of traditional African and Islamic artistic knowledge by sponsoring artist residencies and classes, funding the education of young people in traditional crafts, hosting art tours, producing inspired events and building international connections Artisans.
Baraka means ‘blessing’ in Arabic, and distinguishes the unique properties given to something handmade with skill and intent.
